Morgan Mueller (b. 1994 Reno, Nevada) is an artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. His research based practice creates conceptually layered work which explore the relationships that both humans and non-humans have with landscapes and ecologies pushed to the periphery of urban spaces. Using research methods that span from forensic to ethnographic he aims to weave together narratives that run counter to those often said of postnatural spaces — finding beauty and complexity behind the industrial, liminal, and estranged.
His work has been shown at the New Musuem and Culturehub in New York and his writing has been featured in Pioneer Works Broadcast.
He is currently a faculty member at the Parsons School of Design.
